Vinyl Decal of the original badge of the Lauded 'Regiment' - 'The Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry'.
One of Canada's foremost units, the 'Dirty Patricia's' have the distinct honour of being one of the first Canadian units - and the first Canadian fighting unit in World War One. Used as reinforcements for the 'Old Contemptibles', the self nick-named first British units in the war (to whom the Kaiser referred to as "That Contemptible Little Army"), It is debatable as to whether they deserve to have the same moniker - and on some monuments in Europe, the P.P.C.L.I. are mentioned and comparatively related with 'The Old Contemptibles".
The P.P.C.L.I. were detached and joined in with the 80th Brigade of the BEF early in the war until the 1st Canadian Division was battle-ready.
Fighting with distinguished service in World War 1, the 'Patricia's' continued the tradition of being a 'unit unto themselves' as one of the only units to fight in the aftermath of the Russian Revolution being awarded the the battle honour "SIBERIA, 1918-1919".
Show your regimental pride by brandishing one of the original symbols of the 'Vicious Patricia's' in a vinyl decal format. Perfect for vehicles, gun safes, laptop covers or any other flat surface that you want to show off your Canadian Pride.
Decal is printed on high quality 5 year durable vinyl - not your average sticker.
Size is roughly 5 inches in width and 7 1/2 inches in height.
Shipped by envelope in protective cardboard and only available in limited quantities.
