The Current Battle Rifle of the Canadian armed forces, the C7 Battle Rifle is often easily distinguished from it's M4 counterparts by it's C79 Optic Sight.
The C7 and variants were banned for civilian ownership in Canada in 2020, however many are currently still in private collections and on private ranges. It is yet to be seen whether they will be completely extinguished from private ownership in Canada.
