"The Bish", "Blue Nose", the "Lone Wolf" and called "Hell's Handmaiden" by the Krauts -
Billy Bishop was the top World War 1 War Ace of the British Empire - Born and raised in Ontario, he was destined to earn 72 confirmed victories in the air over war-torn Europe.
Know for his 'leading the pack' and 'lone wolf' tactics, he led the 'Flying Foxes', No. 85 Squadron.
Billy even went red nose-to- blue nose with the Red Baron in April 1917 and lived to tell the tale.
He received a DSO for taking down two of Jasta 11 while having 4 other planes on his tail.
Our Billy is rolling up his sleeves to unleash some 'hate' on the Kaiser's pidgeons - Sporting a pilot's Webley Revolver, Tats of his Cockpit Emblem (Red Maple Leaf and C), 72 for his Victories, his Nieuport 17, Blue Nose rotary engine and a slung SMLE .303.
