From the St. Lawrence to the shores of Okinawa,
The Arctic Circle to the beaches of Normandy, during the Second World War, the Royal Canadian Navy was there.
In the early years of the war, we ran escort and even helped the evacuations at Dunkirk, however from 41-43, massive expansion saw Canada have the 4th largest fleet in the world and the U-Boat hunt was on...
Not only did we sink dozens of axis ships, but chased the Wolfpacks away, allowing the merchant vessels to transport vital supplies across the oceans - and even into the Arctic Circle to the Soviets.
Our Canadian Navy Campaign Honours design features the major areas in which the RCN was engaged, complete with anchor crossed with No.4 Enfield, military marked binoculars and a pipe grinding sea dog skull topped with a Seaman's Cap and Canadian Tally band.
